Gabriel has operated as Senior Manager of Sales and Supply Chain Operations for multiple large cannabis companies within Canada. During legalization, he spearheaded the provincial cannabis implementation and launch for a major Canadian LP, across Canada. Mr. Wetzel has been directly responsible for the launch of nearly 50 independent SKU’s, across Canada’s recreational and medical cannabis markets. Gabriel’s direct, Hands-on experience managing large supply chains, coupled with his background and focus on the renewable energies sector permits him to realize, implement and oversee projects from inception through to operational expansions.
Gabriel received his bachelors in BioResource Engineering from McGill University with specializations in, renewable energies, post-harvest engineering and food process engineering.

Stella joined CBE in 2023 as the Business Development Officer. She has previously completed her MBA from James Cook University, Brisbane. Eager to further her expertise and specialize in the logistics and operations field, she completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management, from Northern College in 2023. She has previously worked in the aerospace and defense sectors in India, as a Market Researcher for European clients. Her broad range of experiences has enabled her to bridge the gap between different domains and find innovative solutions to complex challenges. Her passion for sustainable energy and supply chain optimization in the bioenergy sector exemplifies her dedication to creating a greener and more efficient future.
Allan Reid
Operations Director
Allan joined Commercial Bioenergy Inc. in 2018 shortly after retiring from Ontario Power Generation. Born and raised in Northern Ontario, Allan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Athabasca University, a Bachelor of Science degree from Laurentian University and a Diploma in Electronic Engineering Technology from Northern College.
Allan spent over 35 years working in the Electrical Power Generation Business. His experience includes working from the ground up in Ontario Hydro and Ontario Power Generation serving in many positions. Allan has served in a number of leadership and executive positions across Ontario including Project Management, Asset and Technical Services, Vice President Operations in Central Operations and Niagara Operations and Chief Operating Officer for the Renewable Generation and Power Marketing division of Ontario Power Generation. Through these positions, Allan has developed a strong understanding of Ontario’s energy sector and the intricacies of the province’s power and energy concerns and issues.
Scott Symes
Chief Technical Specialist
Scott joins Commercial Bioenergy as the Technical Specialist. Previously holding the role of Vice President of RLP Machine and Steel Fabrication Inc., Scott brings a multitude of experiences while managing his teams at three locations throughout the north. He also possesses a hands-on background working with and designing innovative equipment. Scott obtained his Bachelor Degree in Engineering at Lakehead University and Advanced Diploma in Engineering Technology from George Brown College. Also, Scott is currently a Sessional Engineering Instructor at Northern College, a Technological Specialist at Columbia Chrome and the Manager of Vics Fabrication, where he has designed and automated their mill which has increased productivity by 200%.
Robert Manseau
President
Robert is a successful entrepreneur and has been providing consulting services to businesses, industries, communities throughout Ontario and Quebec since 1989. Through his extensive experience working with the forestry sector and authoring macro/micro economic impact analyses for communities across Northeastern Ontario, Robert knew the self-sustaining opportunity that renewable energy could provide the north. This led him to developing partnerships and acquiring the rights to adopt state of the art European technology to help the north grow in an economical and sustainable manner utilizing woody biomass.
