Our 1-inch minus wood chips are a refined, medium-fine biomass product produced from clean forestry residues, roundwood, or mill byproducts. This chip grade includes a blend of small, irregular particles—from sawdust-sized fines up to chips 1 inch (25 mm) in length—offering good flowability and uniform combustion characteristics.
These chips are ideal for use in small to medium-scale biomass boilers, including auger-fed or silo-based systems that require more consistent chip sizing. They are also frequently used as a high-carbon composting input, horticultural mulch, and as a soil conditioner or erosion control layer. When dried, 1" minus chips can be used for biochar production or biomass pellet feedstock, and they offer excellent performance as a bulking material in organic waste treatment.
• Maximum chip size: 1 inch (25 mm)
• Particle size distribution: Mixed, includes fines
• Moisture content: Typically, 30–55% (green)
• Source materials: Mixed hardwood and/or softwood
• Bulk density: 300–450 kg/m³ (green)
Delivered loose in bulk by truck or container. Sold by volume (m³) or weight (tonne) based on customer requirements.
GLOCK ecotech wood gasifiers are the result of many years of development and innovation. We present you a way of producing heat and green electricity self-sufficiently using only wood chips. This novel form of energy supply offers every customer efficiency and sustainability.
Despite these diverse developments, developments in fossil fuel systems almost entirely eliminated any wind turbine systems larger than supermicro size. In the early 1970s, however, anti-nuclear protests in Denmark spurred artisan mechanics to develop microturbines of 22 kW.
